I just got home late last night from a 4 day getaway with my wonderful husband. He was in Las Vegas for World of Concrete and flew me out to join him for the weekend. There are no words to describe how perfect the weekend was. Timing could not have been any better, the room magnificent, food mouth watering........even my flight out was awesome. We got bumped off our flight for no reason so to make it up to us, they put me back on the flight and in FIRST CLASS no less. Four days of adult conversation and real meals with no high chairs and kid menus, sleeping in and waking to a quiet and peaceful room NOT MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY......
Even the rain on Saturday, did not damper our mood. We used it as an excuse to nap. So while everyone here in Richmond (the fab four stayed in Amelia with the grandparents ) was enjoying the beautiful spring like weather, I was snuggled up in a gorgeous room with the love of my life napping. Seems to me, everyone had a good time.
So thank you Chad for bringing me along and thank you to everyone here in RIchmond who made it possible for me to go. I needed it and am a better mom because of it!
