Broken Baby

Okay... my baby is broken. He was a great sleeper and perfect bedtime little boy until about 1 month ago. NOW, for the past month, he has been BROKEN. He wakes up crying 2-3 times a night EVERY NIGHT! And it is the something is wrong and I don't feel well cry...NOT the I'm ticked and just want to play OR night terror cry! Sometimes., I go in there, and he is still eyes closed closed and moaning and crying in his sleep ( but loud enough to wake me up). I have taken him to the doctor three times in 2 1/2 weeks. The first time he did have a double ear infection but they say that has cleared up by now....
SO, what do I do? How can I fix my broken little boy?
Any tips???
Willing to try just about anything......

My kids are allergic to corn. Their reaction to it is nighttime colic (even at 2 yrs. old.) My guess is that it causes pretty bad stomach cramping and/or gas. Old fashioned corn-on-the-cob doesn't seem to bother them as much as processed corn products: corn syrup, corn flour, etc. They seem to have a threshold for it--they can have a little, but too much in one day or having several days in a row causes the nighttime trouble. Cereals and processed foods are the worst offenders--try cutting those out for a few days/weeks and see if it helps. Good luck,
Christie

i can't even imagine what it could be. maybe it's something he's eating, like christie says. or maybe there's something else that's ailing him that the docs are missing. trust your instincts.
try giving him the blandest, wholest foods possible at dinner and if that doesn't work take him back in?
