Why is it so?

I always seem to come up with wonderful posts while I am in bed late ate night.  The words and ideas flow like the water when my children brush their teeth but when I make it down to the computer and have five minutes to type, I draw a blank, as blank as the stare I get from my children when I ask them if they have cleaned up their rooms or put their laundry away.   I guess if I were really dedicated, I would hop out of bed and scoot right down and jot the ideas down, no matter the time.   NNNNAAAAAHHHH, I am not THAT dedicated.  SO until my feeble brain can remember ideas longer than the 3.7 seconds of alert time in bed, you are stuck with what you got!  Sorry, ladies......

Totally off the subject, Chad called the children something the other day which made me laugh out loud!  He is always calling himself a cracker and he called Parker Ritz Bits, you know... miniature cracker??? To funny!

I Have a DREAM...

I Have a dream, that all children, little and big, no matter what the color of their skin shall attend school EVERYDAY!  No more days off, long weekends, and teacher workdays.  Let's agree to educate these children and keep them in the public school system instead of in our homes....for long weekends, on very cold days, where they can not go outside but are confined inside the house and destined to drive their mother MAD!!!  Whatever happened to the discussion of year round schooling???

Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day!!!!!!  Hang in there, school is back in session tomorrow!

Another One Bites the Dust

2 down....2 to go.....Barrett came down with the stomach bug last night so I guess it has about a 3 day incubation period.  I guess I am looking at someone getting sick Saturday and then Tuesday and hopefully we will be down. That is of course if Daddy and I do not get it.... WHo knows?  We might be sequestered to home for longing than I had hoped.  I guess Karma did not want me to go to the gym this week.  I have been so good for 2 whole weeks....Maybe I can get there there next week!

Is it a sign?

I was wondering to those of you who have older girls, is it a bad sign that my five year old daughter is already rolling her eyes at me when I make a corny joke?   I don't think that this bodes well for my daughter thinking I am cool much longer.  Oh well, at least i have 3 others that hopefully I can fool. 

Had a great morning today and things are looking up for my sanity!  Sometimes, we just need to vent and feel better...........
