New Year's Resolutions

Well, now that almost a week has gone by of the New Year it is about time for me to sit down and ponder what I want to try and accomplish this year.  I like to give myself a few extra days to do this so they are not disillusioned by the holiday break.  Also, it is one of the first few moments that things have been quiet so I could put down some thoughts.  Here goes....
1.  Be more patient with my children, not raise my voice as much andfind  alternative ways to redirect them into doing what I want/need them to do
2.  Cut off the outside world when Cooper asks me to play with her during quiet time and spend those moments with her
3.  Create one on one time with each of the children on a more scheduled basis with both their father and me
4.  Get to the gym at least 3 times a week.
5.  Say NO more and not overschedule our lives.
6.  Pay more attention to Politics so I can make an educated decision come next November
7.  Talk and play more and watch TV less
There are probably a lot more but I think that is a pretty good start.  Let me hear some of your resolutions....

GEESH, I would say that is a pretty good list you got there! :) I would have to agree with just about all of it! Although I only have one child..:) You sound just like me, I gotta pay more attention to politics, watch tv less, be more patient, and DEFIANTLY need to be more disciplined when going to the gym! I probably have lots more, too many to list. Good luck to you in accomplishing those resolutions. Where there is a will, there is a way! :)
